IMAN Skin Tone Evener BB Crème SPF 15

Iman launches her very first BB cream, which stands out from the rest of the BB category as the first cream that addresses the needs of ethnic skin.

This practically means that Iman's Skin Tone Evener BB Crème SPF 15 comes in a wide shade range, covering about 36 different skin tones, including tans, olives and browns. It also focuses on the hyper-pigmentation, which is a common problem for ethnic skin.

IMAN Skin Tone Evener BB Crème SPF 15 is based on a formula that blends vitamin C and licorice root extract, but the major part of it is actually founded in her own experiences with BB creams. After trying many different BB creams, without finding an adequate one that matches her skin color she realized that “What happens a lot of times with brighteners is that on dark skin that is already oily, light bounces back from it so it looks shinier.” She wanted to make a beauty product that is not just topical but also a true skin treatment, and so she consulted with Dr. Karuna Sabnani, a naturopathic doctor specialized in Ayuverdic medicine. In her own words, the new Skin Tone Evener BB Crème SPF 15 is not just a tinted moisturizer, but a product that differentiates from everything else on the market. The packaging is also designed to induce a relaxation element before you apply the formula on the face, since the sweet-smelling cream comes in a soft-touch packaging which is very appealing to the senses.

Iman's Skin Tone Evener BB Crème SPF 15 launches next month in U.S. mass retailer doors. The product will be priced at $20.
