The famous makeup artist Stephen Dimmick is launching the GlossiGirl lipstick, a new kind of lip product that is specifically tailored for middle-age consumers.

Stephen Dimmick explains, most of the women who follow him on social media are aged between 28 and 55. The makeup artist describes them as strong and powerful women who still want to look and feel sexy. However, he also noticed that it seems like no one is hitting that arena in the market. That's how he came up with the idea to launch a small, 6-piece range of matte lipsticks, which are specifically tailored for this age group. What makes these lipsticks very special is their texture, which has a creamy emolience to it. The lipsticks are something like a matte satin, or As Dimmick explains: “I love the idea of those really dry, crunchy liquid lips that all those young lines have. Most women might like the idea of it, but they really don’t like it because it doesn’t feel good. I wanted it [Poison Apple] to be matte, but not Nineties matte or liquid matte. I went with more of a matte satin.”

The

GlossiGirl lipsticks are highly pigmented and extremely buildable. Their matte formula is designed to keep your lips fresh and moisturized, so that it never looks dry or cracked. The range currently comprises six shades, priced at $19 each, and several nude shades are coming out next. Stephen Dimick is a world-renowned makeup artist who collaborated with Vogue Italia, Time, Harper’s Bazaar Australia and Marie Claire, while his celebrity clientele includes Cate Blanchett, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Nina Dobrev and Vanessa Hudgens.
