Kat Von D Reveals the 10-Year Anniversary collection

Kat Von D Beauty celebrates its 10th anniversary this month. To mark the occasion, Kat Von D will drop a special anniversary collection of gilded goodies, including a limited edition of Tattoo Liner in Trooper Black, a new Studded Kiss Lipstick in the everlasting red shade Santa Sangre, a new Everlasting Glimmer Veil topcoat in Gold Skool, and a new Metal Crush Highlighter to add some golden highlights to your look.

Yesterday, Kat Von D took it to Instagram to reveal the central piece of the collection – the 10th anniversary palette. The palette is loaded with no less than 16 beautiful eyeshadows, ranging from soft peaches and warm golds to electric blues, forest green, and deep shimmering purples. The gold-colored anniversary packaging is printed in Kat’s romantic, gothic-inspired artwork, while the shades is named after one the 10 muses she selected for the Anniversary campaign, and people working behind the scenes of the project.

“I drew the artwork for this palette [and the matching train case] using graphite pencils. I wanted to really push my artwork on this collection and print it as close to the original drawings as possible. The rose theme was my way of paying homage to the first ever eyeshadow palettes we launched the makeup line with 10 years ago.”

In addition, the collection includes special limited edition train cases – 400 of which have already been signed by Kat.

In celebration of Kat Von D’s Latina roots and the country she was born in (Mexico), the 10-Year Anniversary Collection is launching on Cinco de Mayo. Available from May 5 at Sephora and on Kat Von D's websites, before it expands to Sephora’s physical stores on May 21st.
