This month, Kat Von D introduces several new products to her colorful makeup collection! Kat’s summer offerings include a number of new complexion products, together with brushes, and a gorgeous limited edition Serpentina Eyeshadow Palette.

Kat Von D Serpentina Eyeshadow Palette is inspired by jewels and gilded adornments of ancient Egypt.  "The inspiration for this palette came more from a sentiment versus an actual muse. The palette comprises eight densely pigmented pressed eyeshadows in a variety of finishes, including shimmer, mate, and pearl. In addition, the palette includes a metallic gold loose pigment, named Prophet. The gold pigment can be can be used in so many different ways can be used in so many different ways, just like Pat McGrath’s Gold 001! Use it to create an opaque gold finish anywhere on the body: on lids, on lashes and brows, mixed with makeup primer, or layered over your favorite shade of lipstick!

Back to the eyeshadows! The eight jewel-inspired shades are based on Kat’s renowned triple-milled, highly-pigmented formula, which is known for its rich color payoff and extreme blendability:
