Kerastase Goes Green With Aura Botanica

Kérastase, the famous manufacturer of luxury hair care products, has just introduced its brand new range, Aura Botanica, which is said to be created with 98% ingredients of natural origin. Aura Botanica, Kérastase’s greenest range to date, starts as a collection of our hair care products: a Bain Micellaire Gentle aromatic shampoo; Soin Fondamental Moisturizing deep conditioner; Concentré Essentiel Aromatic nourishing Oil Blend and Essence d’Éclat Moisturizing Oil-mist. Each of them features from 96 to 99 percent of naturally sourced ingredients, while the rest of the percentage comes from fragrances and stabilizing ingredients. In addition, each formula is about 97% biodegradable; while the packaging is made from 100% recycled plastic.

Two key ingredients of the Aura Botanica range are Samoan coconut oil and Moroccan Argan oil, but also Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sweet Orange Essential Oil, Rosemary Extract, and Damask Rose Floral Water. In addition, the formulas are sulfate and silicone free.

Kérastase Aura Botanica Bain Micellaire is a gentle micellar shampoo that promises gentle-yet-thorough cleansing action. Enriched with coconut and argan oil, this shampoo leaves your hair silky and shiny, well prepared for application of Aura Botanica Soin Fondamental conditioner. A 250 ml bottle of the shampoo retails at 17,95 €.

Kérastase Aura Botanica Soin Fondamental is a moisturizing fondant-balm that softens and untangles hair to prevent breakage. Ideal for dry, dull, and lifeless hair, this deeply nourishing conditioner revitalizes and softens, as it melts into the hair fibers to provide 48-long nutrition and anti-frizz action. A 200 ml bottle retails at 32.40 €.

Kérastase Essence d’Éclat moisturizing oil-mist is an aromatic blend of nourishing oils. This 2-phase concentrated oil-care spray features a lipid component composed of jojoba, avocado, coconut and argan oils, and an aqueous phase made of Damask Rose Floral Water. The lightweight, ultra-fine mist provides 48-hour nutrition and 72-hour anti-frizz action. It can be used before blow-drying, to protect the hair from heat, or as a finishing product, to perfect the look and bring out hair’s natural glow. Essence d’Éclat moisturizing oil-mist retails at 38.70 €, for a 100ml bottle.

Kérastase Aura Botanica Concentré Essentiel, formulated with virgin coconut oil from Samoa, argan oil from Morocco as well as avocado oil and jojoba oil, restores pure vitality to damaged hair and dry scalp. This aromatic oil, infused with sweet orange extracts, nourishes and revitalizes dull hair and skin. It is also suitable for hand and body care. Kérastase Aura Botanica Concentré Essentiel retails at 38.70 €, for a 50ml pump dispenser bottle.
