Kylie Jenner X Balmain Makeup Collection for Paris Fashion Week

Kylie Jenner has joined her forces with Olivier Rousteing of Balmain, who has asked her to be the artistic director of makeup at his Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week.

Kylie has been secretly working with Balmain on a makeup collection which is slated for release on September 27. In other words, Kylie x Balmain makeup debuts at the label’s Spring/Summer 2020 show, and immediately becomes available on Kylie Cosmetic’s web site.

The inspiration for Kylie Jenner x Balmain collection came from the Look 26, which is the pastel pink couture jumpsuit pictured above that Kylie wore to the 61st annual Grammy awards. In its second venture into cosmetics, the first being the limited edition collection of lipsticks with L’Oréal in 2017, Balmain opted for lip color, eye shadow, and accessories including makeup that will be unveiled this Friday, at the show. Kylie and Olivier have been working together on colors, and they designed the packaging as well. The packaging features a Parisian graffiti print from the couture collection; while the color spectrum includes soft, pastel shades, evocative of Balmain’s recent collections, which are very much in tune with Kylie’s makeup preferences.
