La Prairie Cellular Power Serum

La Prairie extends its Power Collection with the addition of Cellular Power Serum, which is scheduled for launch in September.

The Cellular Power Serum is the third stockkeeping unit of the Power Collection, and it arrives on the market after Cellular Power Infusion, which was launched in February 2011, and Cellular Power Charge Night, which was launched about a year ago.

La Prairie Cellular Power Serum is a daily serum formulated to work against the effects of aging. The serum protects and defends the skin and features a trio of proprietary complexes. Each of them has its own role in the formula. Defense-Fortifying Complex, for example, prevents the loss of skin suppleness and development of wrinkles; Cellular Power Complex, on the other hand, boosts the defense and stimulates skin's own ability to repair itself; while the Cellular Complex stimulates skin's renewal processes, hydrates and energizes the skin.

The formula blends marine ingredients and nourishing botanicals such as giant knotweed, blue microalgae, heart leaf globe dais, Swiss snow algae, tissue guidance matrix, ginseng root extract, horsetail extract, glycoproteins, panthenol and sodium hyaluronat.

The serum will be available in more than 200 specialty stores in the U.S. Some of them are famous retail spots such as Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. La Prairie Cellular Power Serum will retail at $475 for 1.7 oz bottle.
