La Prairie extends its Skin Caviar range

The famous high-end beauty brand, La Prairie, has announced a launch of three new products in the fall of 2014. This time, La Prairie presents new additions to its emblematic Skin Caviar range, which is aimed at improving skin's elasticity, by creating firmer, uplifted contours, using a unique blend of anti-aging proteins.

As its name suggests, the Skin Caviar collection is based on Caviar extract, which is a rare and beneficial skin care ingredient that delivers unmatched lift and firmness to the skin thanks to its unique ability to stimulate collagen production within skin cells. Caviar extract is opulent in in amino acids, proteins, vitamins and minerals – all essential compounds required for vitality and healthy structure of the skin. Since caviar was formerly sourced from wild sturgeon, which is now considered an endangered species, the environmentally friendly luxury brand now uses the highest-quality caviar obtained from the Baerii sturgeon, which is grown on Aqua-farms.

This fall, La Prairie presents three new caviar-charged products:

La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Cream • Sheer is a new, lightweight version of the brand’s iconic Skin Caviar Luxe Cream. In its new rendition, the Skin Caviar Luxe Cream • Sheer brings a significant textural improvement, while preserving all of its celebrated benefits. The Sheer version features a luxurious but lightweight texture that glides on flawlessly and absorbs instantly, leaving a fine, supple finish. The formula repeats the same nourishing and firming complex that re-contours and redefines your facial features.

La Prairie Skin Caviar Concealer • Foundation SPF 15 now comes packed in the iconic caviar blue packaging. The luxurious and lightweight formula blends skincare benefits and age-altering color in a luxurious crème emulsion that delivers perfect coverage and a dewy finish. The cap of the packaging contains a color-coordinated concealer, while the base of the bottle incorporates a housing for a specially designed nylon application brush. The product is available in 12 different shades.

La Prairie Caviar Spectaculaire is the most exclusive, limited edition offering for the Fall of 2015. This spectacular product, designed in collaboration with Baccarat, is announced as a special blend of art, science, and luxury. Baccarat is a manufacturer of fine crystal glassware located in Baccarat, France. The company was founded back in 1764, with the permission of King Louis XV of France. In the late 19th century, the brand built a global reputation for making quality stemware, chandeliers, barware, and especially perfume bottles. Even today, Baccarat works with leading perfumers and renowned beauty brands, to produce exceptional bottles that are true objects of desire.

In 2015, La Prairie joins forces with Baccarat to produce a limited edition Caviar Spectaculaire. It comes in a gorgeous Baccarat crystal caviar server that holds a 75ml jar of the iconic lifting and firming Skin Caviar Luxe Cream. The owner can simply remove the customized jar and use this luxurious packaging as a caviar server. Available from October 2015.
