La Prairie announces Cellular Power Charge Night, an overnight antiaging treatment, which is going to be available from September.

You might still remember their previously launched product, Cellular Power Infusion, which was a true game-changer and one of the most expensive skin care treatments available on the market. This $475 skin firming gel is a superior achievement in modern dermatology. A product that addresses three dimensions of the skin: mitochondria, skin cells, skin tissue.

“Scientists know that aging signs in the skin can be caused by low oxygen levels that occur as the skin matures,” said Jaime Maser, the company's spokesman in an interview with WWD. “The unprecedented combination of retinol and oxygen in one product gives a unique nighttime recovery opportunity for the skin.”

The new formula, Cellular Power Charge Night combines powers of retinol and a synthetic oxygen transfer agent called perfluorodecalin. Te goal of the treatment is to provide rich hydration and stimulate cell renewal. The product is packed in a dual-phial container of white retinol cream and blue PFD serums that mix together when pumped. This 30-ml. package will retail at $475.

The product will be available in all of La Prairie’s 220 shops as well as in La Prairie spas in the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Grand Cayman and the Ritz-Carlton Central Park.
