Lancôme Absolutely Rôse Collection for Spring 2017

For the upcoming Spring, the house of Lancôme draws inspiration from its ubiquitous rose. The rose, which has been a symbol of the brand ever since 1935, appearing on products packages and visuals, is the focal point of the new collection. The brand, founded by Armand Petitjean in 1935, started as a fragrance house. It was named after the ruins of Le Château de Lancôme and the roses surrounding the castle. A single golden rose, which has already inspired countless of Lancôme’s collections, soon became an omnipresent symbol of the brand.

For the spring of 2017, Lancôme derives its inspiration from a full blown rose. A beautiful pink rose that bursts into bloom, with its petals unfolding, appears not only on the campaign visuals, but also as a unique ornament on the limited edition packaging. The rosy-hued collection is brought into life by Lisa Eldridge, Lancôme’s Creative Director of Makeup. Pink, the most gentle of all colors, one of the signature colors of Lancôme, is now the main theme of the Absolutely Rôse collection. So soft, fresh, and trendy, this lovely shade conveys the spirit of Parisian chic, combined with a dose of tenderness and purity.

Lancôme La Rose à Poudre Parisian Kabuki – Spring Rose Sparkling Powder - is illuminating powder with a luxurious gold-colored kabuki brush. It features a completely unique and original delivery system – the powder is released directly from the rose petals! Use the kabuki brush to stroke the rose gently, and it will pick up the finely milled powder that adds shine and definition to the skin.

Lancôme La Palette La Rose is a versatile combination palette featuring six eyeshadow shades, ranging from dusty rose to deep charcoal, a creamy highlighter, and two rose-hued lipsticks. The palette is delivered in a mirrored compact, along with a dual-sided applicator brush.

Lancôme Le Crayon Miracle Eye Pencil is an eye-opening shade that freshens up your eyes with a revitalizing finish. Specially adapted to be applied to the waterline, the formula is made from concentrated vegetal origin butter. This lovely shade illuminates your skin tone and creates a fresh, radiant glow.

Parisian Lips Le Stylo, a new double-ended lip color that combines two shades of two different finishes in a single pen applicator.

Finally, the brand will also introduce three new shades of its most popular Lancôme Juicy Shaker:

The limited edition Lancôme Absolutely Rôse Collection will be available in January 2017, at Sephora.
