Lancome French Ballerine Collection for Spring 2014

The famous French beauty brand, Lancôme, has announced its new color cosmetics range, French Ballerine, which is inspired by the world of ballet and the feminine and romantic aesthetics of the ballerinas.

The collection is focused on soft, pinky hues, which echo throughout the range. The delicate satiny textures are chosen to evoke the satin ribbons of ballerina shoes, while a single fuchsia satin strip adorns each packaging of the new collection.

The collection comprises of waterproof eye shadows Ombre Hypnôse Dazzling in pink and gold, the Hypnose Doll Eyes palette in Rose Ballerine, the Khôl Hypnôse Waterproof eyeliner, and the Virtuose Doll Eyes mascara. For the cheeks, there is Lancôme’s Blush Highlighter in Rose Ballerine, while the Gloss in Love arrives in three charming shades: Volumizer, Mocha Queen, and Rose Oscar. Judging by the promotional images, the collection will also include three nail lacquers.

The face of the promotional campaign for Lancôme’s French Ballerina Collection is an English and American actress Lily Collins. In the words of Françoise Lehmann, General Manager of Lancôme International: “With her charm, gracefulness, modernity and lively wit, Lily Collins is the perfect embodiment of femininity according to Lancôme.”
