Lancôme is launching its new, Grandiôse mascara, which is said to be designed to make eye makeup application even easier.

According to the famous Parisian beauty brand, most of the women are having serious issues when applying mascara to 'the second eye', and reaching all the lashes. Lancome’s research and development team has worked hard to find the best solution, and they have developed the special “Swan-Neck” applicator, with a twisted, shortened rod that cleverly adapts to the curves of your face. The Lancôme Grandiôse Mascara is described as a revolutionary innovation that promises to reinvent mascara through an unparalleled design. The new type of brush is inspired by the curvaceous lines of a swan neck and it is much shorter than the traditional mascara applicator. It is gently bent at a 25 degree angle, to follow the eye's curves while delivering intensely pigmented black and dense color. The tip of the applicator features two types of bristles, in different sides, which are designed specifically for even application to both top and bottom lashes.

Lancôme’s ambassador, the famous actress Penelope Cruz, has been chosen to be the face of the promotional campaign for the new Grandiôse Mascara, which is shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Lancôme also threw a gala dinner in her honor, on May 13th 2014, celebrating the launch of its new product.

Lancôme Grandiôse Mascara is hitting the shelves on July 15th, at Selfridges, before rolling out internationally in August. The recommended retail price for this product is £24.50, €31.50 or about $43.00.
