Lancôme revolutionizes the lip segment with Juicy Shakers

The famous Parisian brand, Lancôme, has recently announced what could become a game-changer in the lipstick world – the Juicy Shaker. This interesting lip color is presented in a tiny container inspired by the cocktail shaker. Right from the very first glance it is obvious that the lipstick features a dual-phase formula, which is composed of vibrant color pigments and nourishing oils. The full name of the product is Lancôme Juicy Shaker Biphasic Colour Infusion Lip Oil!

The concept is very much alike YSL’s Volupté Tint-in-Oil, since both products feature a two-phase formula that starts with a shiny tint of nourishing color, while its second phase intensifies the color and shine. However, Lancôme is going one step further as it revolutionizes both the packaging and the application method. The Juicy Shakers need to be shaken before you use them! Once you start shaking the container, the pigments are uniformly dispersed in oils, to deliver a uniform color to your lips. To make the application easy and mistake-proof, the brand has also created a special cushion applicator of conical shape, which matches the contour of the lips.

There will be 20 shades to choose from, each based on a non-sticky formula, and with adjustable intensity. You may start with a sheer glossy sheen, and build up your lip color all the way to the desired opacity. The formula includes softening and nourishing Peach Seed Oil, rejuvenating Sweet Almond oil, antioxidant Cranberry Oil, as well as protective and regenerating Omega 3 and 6, and Muscat Rose Oil.
