Laura Mercier Arabesque Collection for Spring 2013

Laura Mercier is about to launch a beautiful new makeup collection designed for spring season of 2013. The new collection is named Arabesque and it will be available for purchase starting from January 2013.

Laura Mercier Arabesque Collection features soft and delicate shades of pinks, greys and browns. I find it very much appealing, extremely wearable and almost universally flattering. If you’re into effortless beauty styles, you simply can’t go wrong with these semi-matte textures and discrete natural colors. The collection is, obviously, inspired by the classical ballet. The limited edition shades are soft and subtle, just like ballerinas, and some of them are even named after the ballet positions. Arabesque, for example, is a position of the body where the ballet dancer stands on one leg, while the other leg is extended behind the body. At the same time, both knees are straight.

The central piece of the collection is Laura Mercier Free Spirit Baked Eye Colour Palette, which is a limited edition item. Laura Mercier Eye Pencil in Stone Grey is another limited edition shade designed to help you create dramatic and expressive eyes, which is essential to dancer's appearance on stage. $20

Laura Mercier Permanent Crème Cheek Colour is offered in two warm natural shades designed to give a sheer radiance to the cheeks – Oleander and Praline. $24

Laura Mercier Lip Glacé is offered in a shade named Bare Pink. This lip gloss is based on longwearing formula with high shine and true color. $24
