Laura Mercier is launching the limited edition Artist's Eyeshadow Palette for 2014, which consists of 12 versatile eyeshadows with matte and shimmering textures.

Laura Mercier Artist's Eyeshadow Palette for 2014 features a collection of 12 gorgeous shades (0.03 oz. each), hand-picked by Laura Mercier herself. The palette is delivered with a mini-sized Caviar Stick in Cocoa and mini Full Blown Volume Lash Building mascara in Black. This year’s edition is quite similar to the last year’s edition, but the price is considerably higher. While the previous palette retailed for $48, this year’s edition is no less than $80 (for a $120 value). The palette is quite nice, especially if you love muted neutral shades, and it would be a great purchase only if the price was more comparable to the two previous releases. However, the bonus items - mini-sized Caviar Stick and Mascara – do not justify the $32 price hike. On the other hand, the eye shadows themselves are excellent, they are based on high-quality formulas, they provide a good color payoff, quick and easy application, and long-wearing, crease-free finish.
