Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Collection for Fall 2012

The upcoming Cinema Noir Collection by Laura Mercier will hit the shelves in July. However, this is not a summertime collection but rather a makeup line designed for fall season of 2012.

Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Collection is designed for Jenny Packham runaway show, and it reflects the atmosphere of Film Noir, a movie genre characterized with dark mood lighting and low-key black-and-white visual style. The collection emphasizes visual contrasts between bold red lips and muted shades in smoky mixes of teals and chocolates for eyes. The collection is dramatic, sensual and very modern. Talia Shobrook, the lead makeup artist for the show said that this makeup look “evokes the mystery of the (film noir) era, but translated it for the modern day woman.”

Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Crème/Shimmer Lip Color arrives in following shades: Passion Fruit, Tea Rose, Raspberry Sorbet, and Fresh Brown.

Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Nail Lacquer arrives is available in shades: Cocoa Suede, Organza and Nude Silk


Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Shimmer Block combines four delicate pinky-beige shades of eyeshadow in a single harmony named Starlet Mosaic.

Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Eye Color Duet combines two shades of eyeshadow: Mystere and Suspense.

Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Tightline Cake Eye Liner arrives on the market in Fall 2012, in two shades - Deep Teal and Ground Espresso.
