Le Metier de Beaute has launched a small makeup collection designed for holiday 2012. The collection includes a new limited edition Kaleidoscope Eye Kit and four gorgeous shades of nail color.
Le Metier de Beaute holiday collection for 2012 is inspired by the Bauhaus movement that combined crafts and the fine arts. This movement is best known for its avant-garde ideas and especially the one that says that art without sound engineering is not fitting to the modern world. Applied to the world of makeup, Bauhaus principles are reflected in modernization of the classic formulas. For example, the new Bauhaus Eye Kaleidoscope blends metallics with rich chocolate and neutral scarlet shades, ideal for high-impact and bold eye look.
Le Metier de Beaute Bauhaus Eye Kaleidoscope is offered in a limited edition, priced at $95.00. The set combines four gorgeous shades:
- Axiom - Sublime bronzed umber
- Graphic - Silver liquid metal
- Crucible - Rich pomegranate
- Genre - Deep gun metal

The holiday range also includes four new shades of nail polish. Moon’s Glow and Tinsel Town are iridescent shades that can be worn alone, for sheer glimmering coverage, or used as a top coat to add a festive twist to any shade of nail lacquer. There are also two new vibrant nail polishes Christmas Town and Dream Maker.
Le Metier de Beaute Nail Lacquers are priced at $18:
- Moon’s Glow - Golden gleam lacquered overlay
- Tinsel Town - Subtle shimmer lacquered overlay with crisp celadon undertones
- Christmas Town - Rich emerald
- Dream Maker - Vibrant violet with navy blue undertones
