Poppy King, the famous designer of lip products and the owner of the Lipstick Queen brand, is launching a brand new collection named Belle Époque.

As its name suggests, the Belle Époque range is named after the “Beautiful Era,” which lasted during the era of the French Third Republic, until the onset of the World War I, in 1914. This charming époque, which is characterized by optimism, peace and prosperity, allowed the science and arts to flourish, which, in retrospect, made it appear to be a time of joie de vivre. The Belle Époque collection comprises three hydrating tinted balms in gorgeous, neutral, and universally flattering shades: Belle Nude, Belle Pink and Belle Wine. The lip balms are delivered in small, round, vintage-looking glassy pots, and their texture is kind of a hybrid between a lip gloss and a lip balm. In other words, when applied, the Belle Époque lip balms deliver a high-impact shine and a sheer veil of color, combined with nourishing and moisturizing benefits. The formula blends algae extract rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 as well as moisturizing shea butter, rice lipids, and anti-oxidant vitamin E.

In addition, the Lipstick Queen has announced the launch of the Hello Sailor Lip Gloss, which is based on its bestselling Hello Sailor Lipstick. This interesting new product in a shade of blue sapphire is a sheer, plumping gloss. Same as its nautically-inspired counterpart, the Hello Sailor Lip Gloss is designed to enhance the natural whiteness of your teeth. It tints lips in a cool berry tone, while its protective ingredients, such as antioxidant Vitamin E, meadow seed oil, shea butter, keep lips nourished and moisturized.
The Belle Époque lip balms are priced at £18 each, while the Lipstick Queen Hello Sailor Lip Gloss retails at £22. Both are available from August 2015.
