Poppy King, also known as the Lipstick Queen, has just launched her new trio of lipsticks, named the Liptropolis Set. The set is packaged in a book-like box and it markets as the Volume One of the Lipstick Library.
The collection is inspired by the observation Poppy King has made after many years of living in New York: that each neighborhood has its own signature lip color that speaks a lot about the women who live there. The shades are based on a buildable formula and they can be worn as barely there sheers or boldly bright hues. Speaking about the trio, Poppy King said that Volume I of the Lipstick Library pays a tribute to the women of the city in three iconic shades. The shades are named after one of the well-known New York neighborhoods: Soho, a trendy red shade; Upper East, an elegant nude hue; and Central Park, a sophisticated peach.
The shades are based on a buildable formula and they can be worn as barely there sheers or boldly bright hues. The set retails at $48.00.
