Earlier this year, L’Oreal Paris announced that it has joined its forces with the luxury fashion house of Balmain.

Back in May, Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain, shared an exciting preview of the upcoming collection on his Instagram page. Ever since then, we’ve been waiting to hear for more details about what’s to be included in the collection. A couple of days ago, L'Oréal has teased yet another preview, a close-up shot of a gorgeous new muted gold lipstick called Confidence.

What we know today is that Balmain x L’Oréal Paris collection will include 12 new shades of matte and metallic lipsticks, which will be hitting the shelves in September 2017. Confidence is a shade ideal for those who are into sultry nude lip. This neutral pink with a golden sparkle creates a unique rose gold matte finish, but there will be many other hues to choose from, including classic reds, rich berries, purples, and pinks.

Balmain x L’Oréal Paris Lipsticks are based on L’Oréal’s Color Riche formula, which combines rich color and intense hydration. These nourishing lipsticks are loaded with ingredients such as Omega 3, Vitamin E, and Argan Oil.

L’Oreal Paris’ first ever collaboration with a fashion house will include three star shades available as jewel editions, which will be exclusive to Balmain Paris stores and selected retailers. Oliver Rousteing has decided about the shades, the packaging and the ad campaign. To coincide with the Paris Fashion week, the collection will launch from early September 2017.
