Following the success of their lipstick collaboration with Blamain, beauty brand L’Oreal Paris is teaming up with French designer Isabel Marant for the new fashion inspired beauty collaboration. Marant has partnered with L’Oreal to create a capsule collection of “her day-to-night, natural-to-smoking make-up essentials,” for that ultimate Parisian chic make-up result.
The limited edition L’Oréal Paris x Isabel Marant collection includes five makeup products in shades and packaging designed by Marant herself. The range includes 7 matte lipsticks, a multipurpose lip and cheek tint, an on-the-go highlighter, an eyeshadow duo, and a brow mascara.
Marant’s makeup range is great for beauty-on-the-go, as it embraces a simple concept of having just a few necessary makeup products that a girl always carries in her bag and can be used in a very nomadic way.
As Isabel Marant explained: “I think that corresponds more to the way of life of the Isabel Marant girl. She is rather natural in the day but doesn’t have the time to go back home before going out [in the evening] and to redo her entire beauty look. So the idea was to have the three or four products that in a flash help sublimate a face with very simple and spontaneous gestures.”
Designed to help you channel that je ne sais quoi cool look of Parisian women, the collection is focused on creating a barely there makeup effect, something that Marant describes as “fake natural beauty.” The most colorful offering is a range of seven L’Oréal Paris’ Color Riche matte lipsticks, rendered in a very classical manner – a selection of reds and pinks to flatter any kind of complexion.
Marant always paints either her eyes or her lips, so if you opt for a lipstick, than you should skip using a palette called Smoke, which includes a matte black and an iridescent green-blue black duo. The collection also includes a transparent brow mascara, which can also be used for the lashes. There’s also a highlighting skin beautifier called Shine, and a pH reactive pink gloss that can be used on lips or cheeks.
L’Oreal Paris x Isabel Marant collection will pre-launch online September 19, followed by a worldwide launch at L’Oreal Paris sales points and Isabel Marant stores on September 27. Swipe below to find out prices and learn more about the products!
