The face of this year’s MAC Viva Glam campaign is the brand’s first “creative partner” – Rihanna. A couple of days ago, MAC has announced Rihanna as its 2014 Viva Glam spokesman, saying that the famous singer and performer inspired the line of this year’s Viva Glam products.

As you may already know, Viva Glam campaign is aimed at raising money for HIV and AIDS affected people from all over the world, and no less than 100% of the proceeds from the sales of VIVA Glam products benefit the MAC AIDS Fund. The primary goal of the fund is to support people who are living with HIV/AIDS, as well as to offer help to and prevent the HIV/AIDS through education and services. Over the years, MAC has brought a number of celebrity endorsers and spokesman for the campaign: RuPaul, Elton John, Lil’ Kim, Mary J Blidge, Christina Aguilera, Pamela Anderson, Missy Elliott, Linda Evangelista, Chloë Sevigny, Boy George, Shirley Manson, Fregie, Cyndi Lauper, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin.  This year’s campaign is supported by Rihanna, who has collaborated with MAC to create the exclusive new shades of lipstick and lipglass, which are described as frosty blue based red hues. The products are delivered in a limited edition glossy black and matte red packaging, adorned with the singer’s signature. MAC and Rihanna Viva Glam 2014 Collection will be available for purchase from January 2014, at MAC selling points and online at maccosmetics.com. Viva Glam products should be on offer all year round.
