MAC Kinky Boots Collection

MAC is launching a small makeup range designed to honor the Kinky Boots musical, which began its US tour this year. The Kinky Boots Collection by MAC celebrates the Tony Award-winning musical with kinky red hues of Lipstick and Lipglass.

Kinky Boots musical is based on a on the 2005 film Kinky Boots by Geoff Deane and Tim Firth. The plot line, which is inspired by actual events, tells a story about Charlie, who is a young owner of British shoe factory who forms a partnership with Lola, a drag queen, in order to save his struggling business. From that moment on, Charlie produces custom footwear for drag queens and kings… The collection is, therefore, inspired by those who stand up for who and what they are, for individuality and thinking outside-the-box. MAC’s new shades are said to make a one-of-a-kind statement….

MAC Lipstick in Kinky is a vivid neutral red with matte finish. The lipstick retails for $16.00.

The MAC Kinky Boots Collection, both Lipstick and Lipglass, will launch November 20th, 2014, at the Times Square MAC locations. It is already available at maccosmetics.com
