MAC launches Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation

MAC’s new foundation – the Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation - arrives straight off the catwalk into our makeup bags!  The new product, which had been tried and tested during this year’s fashion weeks, launches online September 3rd at maccosmetics.com, and from all MAC locations on September 12th.

MAC Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation is inspired by Asian makeup favorites. It features a lightweight, moisture-infused formula that invigorates the skin and makes it look refreshed and luminous. The product features a thin, elastic, gel-to-serum texture that delivers a stay-true color and sheer-to-medium buildable coverage. In accordance to the seasonal makeup trends, the foundation is aimed at improving the overall appearance of the skin, but without masking effect. Like all good modern foundations, it only softly conceals imperfections and enhances the complexion by blurring out fine lines, wrinkles, and pores. The aim is not to achieve a thick coverage, but to improve the look of skin, while delivering lasting hydration, for comfortable, fresh complexion, that is silky soft to the touch.

MAC Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation is available in 25 shades for $33/£25.50. The product is delivered in a transparent glass bottle with a new dropper delivery system, which is designed to provide the right amount of the product.

The launch will be complemented with a new brush – MAC 196 Slanted Flat Top Foundation Brush – which is designed to give you a naturally flawless finish. The brush features soft, short bristles and has a flat slanted top. Thanks to its unique shape, it reaches even the tiniest hollows and contours of the face. Suitable for all kinds of different formulas including liquid, cream, gel, and powder. $35
