MAC is launching its new, limited edition Patentpolish Lip Pencil, which promises the color and shine of a lip gloss, combined with the precision of a lip pen.
And, finally, MAC is launching its very first "chubby-stick" lip color! These super-nourishing tinted lip balms, inspired and nicknamed after the Clinique's original Chubby Sticks, became increasingly popular in the last couple of years, and almost every known makeup brand has its own version of this softening, moisturizing lip color.
MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencils have a smooth, creamy texture that is perfect for lining the lips or filling them with lively color. They come in the convenient stick containers, which are very practical to use and carry around. The Patentpolish pencils are ideal for those who prefer a more natural look with just a bit of color that doesn't feel dry on the lips, and that, at the same time, looks very fresh and natural. The cute crayon-like pencil twists out more product, without the need to sharpen. The formula is very smooth and soft, and its consistency is more like a balm than a lipstick. The lip color is composed of different kinds of nourishing creamy emollients to keep the lips smooth, while feeling lightweight, and never heavy or sticky.
MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencil for Spring 2014 is available in 12 new limited edition shades. The Patentpolish is launching in April 2014, in the US. It will become available internationally by the end of the May 2014. MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencil is priced at $20.00 per shade.
