MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation

MAC has announced the launch of its new Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation, which is due to be released in May 2015.

MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation is described as a new sequel to the brand’s popular Pro Long Wear franchise. This time, the celebrated formula comes in its waterproof version, to help you look perfectly polished even during the hot and humid summer months. What is really interesting is that this formula doubles as a foundation and a concealer, both resistant to rain, tears, and moisture. According to the brand, the newly updated formula promises no less than 16 hours of wear, it is completely oil-free, and buildable from medium to heavy coverage. 

The product has been tried and tested backstage at Fashion Week, where Nick Gavrelis, the Vice President of Global Product Development described it as a waterproof, modern concealer, inspired by the Asian beauty trends. The foundation is a hybrid product which gives a new, multi-dimensional effect to concealer. The consumer is the one to control the final effect, by building the formula from opaque to heavy, but without ever looking dry of chalky. This unique formula incorporates new-generation polymers, which are responsible for its velvety matte finish, which also works on the body.

MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation comes in a 25ml tube, and in 16 versatile shades. The product retails for €32.00. The foundation comes in a plastic tube with a see-through window that reveals the exact nuance of the shade…
