MAC Semi-Precious Collection Summer 2011

MAC Semi Precious Collection launches on July 7th. This is another great collection of mineral makeup that includes 12 mineralized eye shadows, 4 mineralized skin finishes, 3 mineral blushes, a line of lipsticks and lip glosses, body lotion and Mineralize Charged Water.

The line is inspired by gems, rare in spirit and rich in substance. The Semi Precious Collection points out that the best way to wear gems may not be as a part of the jewelry but rather fluidly, right on the skin!

The collection combines finest selection of rare gems: bronzite, black tourmaline, gold pyriate, and lilac lepidolite. And here is what came out when MAC brought them together:

Semi-Precious Lipstick is available in a limited edition of shades. There are four gorgeous summer colors: mid-tone strawberry pink, light nude beige, deep plum and mid-tone rosy neutral. Their commercial names are Gem of Roses, Lush Amber, Musky Amethyst and One of a Kind. $14.50 U.S.

Cremesheen Glass is a lip gloss that combines creamy and sheen nature fo Cremesheen Lipstick with the shine of MAC Lipglass. This collection offers five lovely shades: strawberry pink, mid-tone reddish plum, light caramel nude, light grey pink, and deep brown plum. Their names are: Geo Pink, Looks Like Sin, Natural Flaire, Pure Magnificence and Richly Revered. $18.50 U.S

Mineralize Blush combines baked minerals refined into a powder to provide sheer color and lightweight application. There are three limited edition shades in this collection: Feeling Flush, Pressed Amber and Warmth of Coral. $23.00 U.S.

Mineralize Skinfinish is a face powder loaded with minerals and slowly baked to provide dimensional and natural matte finish. It can also be used to set and fix foundation, or as a touch-up during the day. Available in four shades, to suit all skin types: Semi-Precious Crystal pink, Semi-Precious Goldstone, Semi-Precious Pearl, Semi-Precious Rose Quartz. $28.00 U.S.

Mineralize Eyeshadow is exceptionally sheer and lightweight resulting in rich color. This is a central item of the collection, available in 12 shades: Blue Sheen, Clarity, Dark Indulgence, Faux Gold, Golden Glaze, Hint of Sapphire, Jade’s Fortunate, Mineral Mode, Quartz Fusion, Rare Find, Smoky Ruby and Unsurpassable.

The collection also offers a selection of limited edition Brushes: 234 Split Fibre Eye Blending Brush, 235 Split Fibre All Over Eye Brush, 128 Split Fibre Cheek Brush and 179 Angled Split Fibre Buffer Brush designed especially for application of mineral makeup. $19.50 U.S.
