MAC Cosmetics announces yet another of its fantasy collaborations! This time, the famous beauty brand partners with Star Trek to celebrate a second sequel to the Star Trek film franchise, Star Trek Beyond, which is scheduled to be released on July 22, 2016. Since the upcoming movie release coincides with TV franchise’s 50th anniversary, the fans will be enjoying a double celebration this summer!

MAC Star Trek Collection is set to hit the shelves on September 1st, 2016, and online a bit earlier – on August 25. Same as the Rocky Horror, Archie, and the Simpsons collection, the Star Trek range go on pre-sale at San Diego Comic-Con.

As announced by MAC Cosmetics, the 25-piece collection is inspired by the sci-fi saga influencing ideas and aesthetics of gender, race and intergalactic potential. The collection brings exciting new limited edition products including MAC Lipsticks, Lipglass, Press Pigment Eyeshadow, and Studio Nail Lacquers. The packaging is decorated with the special 50th anniversary version of Star Trek's recognizable insignia – the Starfleet logo.
