MAC Ultimate Collection Fall 2014

October sees the launch of MAC’s new makeup collection. This time, the famous cosmetics brand presents the Ultimate Collection, which unites an original design aesthetic with the luxurious MAC formulas.

MAC Ultimate is a rather small range that comprises only two products: Ultimate Lipstick and Sheer Mystery Powder. However, the well-known formulas of MAC’s bestselling products are here offered in a wide array of shades: some selected from the permanent range, some being repromoted, and some announced as Asia exclusives. We’ll go through all of the shades a bit later as now I want to turn your attention on the unique packaging that is featured in this collection. The lipstick and the powder are housed in black lacquered cases of modern geometric design, with sleek chrome-like finish. This rather extravagant and edgy design is what makes them true cult-collectibles, and even nominates them for one of the most wanted Christmas presents of the upcoming season. 

MAC Ultimate collection is already available for purchase at maccosmetics.com. The range is hitting the shelves across the United States on October 2, 2014. It will become available internationally by the end of the same month.
