MAC x Ellie Goulding Collection

MAC Cosmetics has just announced that the famous English singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is the new face of M.A.C. Cosmetics!

The renowned cosmetic brand is teaming up with Ellie Goulding to create a special, limited edition makeup range, which is due to hit the shelves in December 2015. The exclusive Holiday range for 2015, fronted by Ellie Golding, will most probably feature a full range of products designed to help you achieve Ellie’s recognizable natural and glowing makeup look. As we can see on the teaser image tweeted by Ellie Goulding a couple of days ago, the collection includes a lipstick, a lip gloss, a classic 4-piece eye palette, a creamy eyeshadow, and a blush-bronzer duo.

Ellie Instagrammed the image on June 4, together with a caption: “Oi oi SO excited to finally share what I’ve been working on with @MACcosmetics!!! #MACEllieGoulding drops in Dec/Jan!

The lipstick is colored in a soft, universally flattering shade of pink, while the lip gloss features glittering particles infused in a champagne-colored formula. The neutral eyeshadows are highlighted by pretty shades of pink, which appears both in the eyeshadow palette and as a rose crayon. In addition to a blush-bronzer duo, the range also includes a pair of false lashes.

According to some rumors, the next face of MAC Cosmetics will be Caitlyn Jenner. As the company said in an interview for WWD: “MAC is a brand that embraces all ages, all races and all sexes and is a longstanding supporter of the LGBT community. We are inspired by Caitlyn Jenner and her personal journey and we admire her courage and beauty. We have not signed Caitlyn as a spokesperson for MAC.”
