The famous German-born jewelry designer and sculptor, Robert Lee Morris, is teaming up with MAC Cosmetics for a very special makeup collection that is said to be inspired by his unique jewelry pieces. The designer, who finds much of his inspiration in the forms he admires in nature, is known for imaginative yet architectural jewelry collections bridging the gap between fashion and sculpture.

Lee Morris’s designs have been made in gold, silver and bronze, and he’s especially known for his 24 carat matte gold plating and rich patination. The upcoming capsule collection plays with exactly the same precious hues, featuring beautiful limited edition packaging evocative of decorative articrafts made from aged gold.

MAC Robert Lee Morris Pro Longwear Pressed Powder

The capsule collection includes the special new edition of MAC Pro Longwear Pressed Powder, which comes in a vintage inspired gold colored compact, with roughly brushed surfaces.

MAC x Robert Lee Morris Lipstick features a matte formula, conical case and a gold-colored cap. It arrives in five fruit-inspired shades, and retails for € 39.

The collection will also includes MAC Powder Blush, in three shades, and two Robert Lee Morris designed makeup brushes: Large Flat Powder Brush 135, and Large Angled Contour Brush.

MAC x Robert Lee Morris capsule collection is launching October 26, 2017. Rumor has it, the collection will be available for 6 weeks, exclusively at MAC stores and maccosmetics.com.
