MAC x Selena Collection Coming in October 2016

In Jul 2015, MAC Cosmetics responded to a petition urging it to commemorate the late singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez. At the time, MAC Cosmetics announced that Selena will be the inspiration behind its upcoming makeup range, which will be created at a fan's request. Earlier today, the famous beauty brand decided to give as a sneak peek at the upcoming MAC Selena collection, which arrives for Fall 2016. MAC teased an image of the Como La Flor Lipstick that will be available with Selena’s MAC Collection. The lipstick is named after Selena’s major hit from 1992.

Selena’s sister Suzette Quintanilla, collaborated with MAC on the new release. In her own words: “I wanted the colors to be about her personally, what she wore on and offstage. MAC Selena Collection launches in October 2016 in select markets. The collection will include limited edition purple packaging with Selena' signature in gradient print.
