MAC x The Simpsons - a first look at the Marge Simpson Collection

MAC has recently announced that it prepares a new makeup collection dedicated to the Simpson. The funky new makeup range, developed in collaboration with the Fox Broadcasting Company, is aimed at celebrating the 25th anniversary of the famous American family animated sitcom created by Matt Groening.

The range, which was announced about two months ago, is described as “a vivacious color collection that can only be described in one word: Eeeeexcellent.” At that time, MAC had revealed that the collection will be dedicated to Marge Simpson, the well-meaning matriarch of the Simpson family with a distinctive blue beehive hairstyle.

After many weeks of anticipation, MAC has finally revealed that the Simpsons makeup collection will hit appear on its online store on August 28th, 2014, before it hits the shelves nationwide on September 4th. The very special event will be held during Comic-Con on Saturday, July 26, at the MAC Cosmetics store in the Gaslamp District (234 Fifth Avenue, San Diego). This is where and when the major fans of both The Simpsons and MAC will get a chance to take a sneak peek at the collection and even pick up their favorite items on a one-day sale. This is a 10-piece collection, which comprises of nail stickers ($16.50), lip-glosses ($16.50), eye shadows ($44.00), and lashes ($18.50)…

And finally, here is your first look at MAC’s The Simpsons Collection, of which Marge says: "They’re all so great, but I must say that Lisa’s Spikes really works well with my skin tone and of course, Beehive Blue complements my hair perfectly."
