MAX Factor Color Correcting CC Cream

CC creams are slowly making their way to the market and MAX Factor Color Correcting Cream is just one of the great new skincare products that continues a natural evolution of BB trend.

CC creams are very much alike the traditional BB creams but they typically have lighter texture and they are more easily absorbed than the BB creams. Most of the CC creams have color correcting properties and they are formulated to correct and hide dark or yellow skin patches or irregularly toned skin. In contrast to BB creams, which can be used as face primers and foundations, CC creams are more like concealers and their main focus is on hiding irregular pigmentation, rather than the blemishes. Some of the brands are marketing their CC creams as multi-tasking skin care products that can also be used as facial masks. In a nutshell, CC creams are just a new generation of BB creams, based on more sophisticated ingredients, with less silicones and more coverage.

MAX Factor’s CC cream blends cucumber water, rosehip extracts and sea buckthorn together with SPF 10 sun shields. The package resembles the Xperience foundation and it even uses some of the same ingredients as this product. The product launches in May launches in April for £9.99, 11.40 Euro or about $15.10. MAX Factor’s CC cream will be available in three shades.
