Max Factor Excess Shimmer Eye Shadow

November sees the launch of Max Factor’s new Excess Shimmer Eye Shadows. These new metallic eye shadows are based on innovative 3D silicone gel formula, which promises rich color payoff and intense shine.

Thanks to their mousse-like lightweight texture,

Max Factor Excess Shimmer Eye Shadows glide and melt onto the skin, for easy application. The blendable formula ensures that just a little bit of shadow goes a very long way, while the smooth and soft, highly saturated cream, quickly dries into a shiny finish, without any excess glitter. The Excess Shimmer Eye Shadow is very durable, as it promises up to 12-hours of perfect hold. If you use a primer before eyeshadow, you could make it last even longer.  The best way to apply this gel formula is to use a brush and sweep it all over the lid. Use a blending brush and make small circular motions to push the eyeshadow up and out towards the brow bone. You could also add a lighter shade in the inner corner of each eye, to make them appear even bigger and brighter. Use a liner brush with a darker shade to accentuate the eyes by lining close to the lashline…

Max Factor Excess Shimmer Eye Shadow shades are: Pearl, Bronze, Pink Opal, Onyx, Copper, Crystal.

The product comes in six different shades, each priced at £7.99. As announced by the brand, the eye shadow range will be complemented with the Excess Intensity Longwear Liners in January 2014. The liners will be available in three new shades, and priced at £8.99 each. This product promises perfect glide-on precision in a self-sharpening pencil, and no less than 12 hours of intense wear. The smudge-proof and water-proof formula makes it ideal for all kinds of weather and occasions.
