NARS Makeup for Summer 2013

NARS is launching a new makeup collection designed for summer of 2013. The collection is very bold and interesting, obviously inspired by the extravagant Ziggy Stardust and his striking visual presentation.

The collection is described as a modern spin on the sexy and futuristic aesthetics of the early 1970's, It brings vibrant, cool and utterly unconventional color palette, which is both edgy and glamorous at the same time. NARS Makeup for Summer 2013 is created by NARS Founder & Creative Director Francois Nars. The collection is launching online, at narscosmetics.com, on April 15th. It will be available worldwide, from all NARS counters, from late April or early May.

NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Fashion Rebel combines two shades named Dandelion and African frost. One of them is a vibrant yellow and the other one is violet. The eye shadow duo retails at $34.00.

NARS Single Eyeshadow is offered in a shade named Euphrate. The shade is inspired by the color of the longest river of Western Asia and it is described as a frosted mint steel. Mono eye shadows are priced at $24.00.

NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner comes in a shade named Barrow Street. This is an unusual seafoam green, which is priced at $24.00.

NARS Multiple Bronzer in Puerto Vallarta is a shimmering tangerine shade, priced at $39.00.

NARS Lipstick comes in a gentle pink rose shade named Tolede. $24.00. NARS Larger Than Life Lipgloss in Paris Follies is an interesting pink flamingo shade and it costs $26.00.

Two of the items of the collection will be offered in a limited edition: NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Tender Night (iridescent lilac shade, priced at $25.00) and NARS Nail Polish in Madness (electric orange, priced at $19.00)
