NARS to launch Velvet Lip Glide

As part of its Fall offerings, NARS cosmetics introduces a brand new matte lipstick that promises to nourish your lips and keep them nicely moisturized. The new formula is announced as the perfect balance between softness and strength, coverage and comfort.

While most of the liquid matte formulas are especially known for how drying they can be, the new Velvet Lift Glide is formulated with nourishing oils, so it never completely dries down. In other words, its texture remains buttery soft, with a fine, matte, velvety finish. The long-wearing formula is kiss-proof. It certainly fades out a little bit throughout the day, but it fades out evenly, so you won’t be left with a color that had worn off so much in the middle. Instead, the NARS Velvet Lip Glide leaves a lovely stain behind.

NARS Velvet Lip Glide for Fall 2016 is based on NARS’ proprietary Oil Infusion Complex, which allows for a smooth, gliding effect and a fully saturated color. The result is a hybrid between a gloss and a lipstick, combining the fluidity of one, with the coverage and comfort of the other.

NARS Velvet Lip Glide is available in 13 shades, each named after one of the iconic venues and new attitude that emerged from the sexual revolution of the ’70.

NARS Velvet Lip Glide arrives in Sephora on September 6th (VIB/VIB Rouges), and on September 15th in NARS boutiques and narscosmetics.com. Starting from October 1st, the Velvet Lip Glide will be available at all other retailers, as well. NARS Velvet Lip Glide is priced at $26 per shade.
