Dior Addict Lipsticks are finally available! The preceding campaign full of teasers and commercials, featuring Kate Moss, finally ended in a grand launch that took place a couple of days ago. There are 44 beautiful, ultimately feminine shades to choose from, and Dior divided them up into three styles: Glam Icon, Doll Icon, and Rock Icon. As people from Dior say, the shades reflect their fashion icon’s three styles.

The Rock Icon style colors complete your ultimately sexy wild look on high heels with oversized shades, and striking black jewelry. The Glam Icon colors match perfectly with leather, lace and fur, completing the overall impression of style and luxury. The doll style is subtle and sensual, painted in nude tones and innocent shades of pink.

What is so special about these lipsticks is that they use a completely new sensorial formula that provides vibrant color and shine, while feeling very soft on your lips. Personally, I can confirm the brand’s statement, since I own one of the lipsticks from this line (more about it in a review). The formula has 25% less wax than classic lipstick, and substitutes it for an innovative gel that hydrates the lips leaving the soft shine and subtle glossy effect, which actually achieves plump lip effect. The lipstick feels moist on your lips but very light and not sticky like a lip-gloss.

The new packaging has also changed a little: it is taller and more sleek with the translucent iridescent case that reveals the slim silver tube finished with polished rounded top.
