Nigel Barker - known as a Sri Lankan-English former reality TV show star, photographer, author, spokesperson, filmmaker, and former model – is launching two beauty collections: Beauty Equation and BE Cosmetics.

Nigel Barker’s beauty products have been designed in collaboration with his wife Cristen, and they should be launched somewhere in 2014. The Beauty Equation line is a prestige range of products, while the BE Cosmetics is aimed to mass distribution. Both ranges were developed with Canadian manufacturer and distributor Orchard International, and designed to make women “camera ready”. This means that the range includes both skin-care and color cosmetics options in 80 stockkeeping units. The collections are aimed to women between 21 and 54 years of age.

Nigel Barker Beauty Equation line will feature three different sub-lines: Hydrate, Restore and Clarify. It will feature a range of cleansers, tonics, moisturizers, and serums, all priced from $25 to $49. The color lineup will include lip glosses, lipsticks, eyeshadows, and makeup sets, priced $59.50 and $85.61. The collection will also include various skin perfecting products, from brushes to full-face palettes, with prices ranging from $15 to $55.

Nigel Barker BE Cosmetics will target younger audience, women between 15 and 25. The prices in this range will be much lower. For example, the skin care products will be priced from $8 for a cleanser to $18 for a night cream. Color cosmetics will range price from $4 for an eyeliner to $14 for an eye-shadow quad.
