Origins A Perfect World Range Expansion

In Spring 2017, Origins adds three youth-protecting products to its “A Perfect World” collection. The amazingly efficient anti-aging line, powered by antioxidant properties of White Tea, has also been updated with a brand new packaging. Same as before, A Perfect World skincare comes with a promise of helping ward off free radical damage and prevent premature signs of aging.

The newcomers to the collection are SPF 40 Age-Defense Moisturizer with White Tea, Antioxidant Moisturizer with White Tea, and Age Defense Eye Cream with SPF 20. Each of them comes with a promise of restoring worldly order by protecting the complexion from environmental stressors such as infrared rays, pollution, and UV damage.

Two new moisturizers of the “A Perfect World” range can be used as a day/night duo. While the one of them contains Origins’ highest ever SPF in a moisturizer, to protect and moisturize the skin during daytime, the other is an antioxidant rich moisturizer that protects and improves skin’s moisture barrier as we sleep. When layered with an SPF product, the Antioxidant Moisturizer with White Tea can also be used during the day.

So, the message is basically: if your moisturizer doesn’t contain any SPF, do not use it during the day. According to Origins, infrared rays (IR), which make up 50% of all light, can harm your skin through protein damage, oxidative stress, and free radical formation. A good moisturizer should provide good hydration, but also defend your skin throughout the day from both UVA and UVB rays. The goal is to ward off environmental damage you can’t see yet, before it takes a toll on our skin.

The same goes for your eye area. The skin of this region is extremely thin and delicate, so this is usually the first area to show signs of aging. This means that our eyes need some extra tender love and care. The Age-Defense Eye Cream with SPF20, a lightweight, hydrating treatment with antioxidant-rich White Tea, is clinically proven to boost hydration and radiance of the eye area. The cream is formulated with 100% mineral SPF that helps protect from UVA/UVB damage, while antioxidants from White Tea help protect from IR, ground level ozone, and pollution. In addition, barrier-boosting Edelweiss helps strengthen skin to prevent premature signs of aging.

All three products contain a trio of natural ingredients: the aforementioned Edelweiss; white birch that improves skin’s suppleness, tone, texture and clarity; as well as Silver Tip White Tea, which is the least processed tea, and has the most antioxidant properties.
