Pat McGrath Labs introduces Metalmorphosis 005 Eye Kits

The famous makeup guru Pat McGrath unveils her fifth makeup set! One of the most influential makeup artists of all times releases a complete metallic eye makeup kit this fall. With her latest release, McGrath builds upon the success of her Lust 004 glitter lip kit, and proposes yet another modern way to wear glitter. The Metalmorphosis 005, an epitome of McGrath’s love of metallics, is all about dazzling eyes.

As announced by McGrath, Metalmorphosis 005 is an extension of her first product, the Gold 001 pigment, which now returns together with her “sisters”- silver, bronze and copper. Each color option comes with both a powder and cream formula, along with a dual-ended liquid eyeliner and Mehron Mixing Liquid, which is a liquid makeup base for use with metallic powders and other dry pigment. The liquid actually helps pigment to go from dry to wet, and create a more saturated color payoff.

“I always wanted to release the gold again, but wanted to wait until I could make all the metals. Metallics will never go away. They bring so much dimension to the face. You can’t help but love them. I can’t help but love them always forever. They’re just fun!” – McGrath said at a preview of the launch. She also encouraged her fans to experiment with makeup and color, to play with the cream, add pigment on top, try both wet and dry textures, and truly experience the versatility of the products.

All of these new products already made their debuts on the runways during the recent fashion weeks. We saw them in action on Gigi Hadid’s face, at the Versace show, when McGrath applied the illuminating silver hue to the model’s tear ducts.

Moreover, these dazing crystal lips from Maison Margiela S/S 2017 show for Paris Fashion Week, have also been created using the glittery pigment.

Each of the four Metalmorphosis 005 sets retails for $60, an Everything Kit containing all four color harmonies for $165. Dual-Ended Marker, designed to create a bold or fine stroke, is available for individual purchase, and it retails at $24. The kits will be available at Patmcgrath.com, at noon on November 15th, and at select Sephora doors and sephora.com from November 22nd. Each of the four-piece eye kits is available in limited edition.
