Pat McGrath Labs The Permanent Collection for Fall 2017

One of the most influential makeup artists in the world, Pat McGrath, will finally introduce a permanent range on October 6, 2017! If you weren’t quick or lucky enough to get your hands on any of McGrath’s previous launches, now is the time to do so, as something more permanent is just about to hit the shelves at Sephora, the brand’s exclusive retail partner. This upcoming October, McGrath will introduce the core collection of color cosmetics, her very first “unlimited” edition!

The permanent collection will roll out in two stages, starting at midnight on September 16, with 40 shades of lipsticks, followed by the release 11 shades of lip liner, eyeliner in five shades, a mascara, and three eyeshadow palettes on September 28. By the end of this month, McGrath’s official website, patmcgrath.com, will host a “secret” pre-sale its subscribers. The range will be officially available at 25 Sephora doors and sephora.com, starting from October 6.

As Pat McGrath explained, the majority of these colors and textures are her all-time staples for the last 25 years. This exciting new launch will literally allow you to shop McGrath’s archive, including some of the most iconic makeup looks like a tan and a bronze one she did for Versace.

The range includes no more than five products and 61 stock keeping units in the eye and lip categories. There will be 9 MatteTrance and 31 LuxeTrance Lipsticks ($38), 5 shades of PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencils ($25) and 12 shades of PermaGel Ultra Lip Pencils ($25). The Dark Star Mascara will retail for $28, and the Mothership Eye Palettes for $125. The palettes will be available in three colorways:

• Sublime: Iconic Illumination
• Subversive: Obsessive Opulence

McGrath’s first permanent collection is accompanied by beautiful, artistically designed outer packaging adorned with four gold seals: a “PM” for Pat McGrath, an “L” for labs, a crown and a lip, eye, or a winged eye graphic corresponding to the product categories. The palettes are equipped with beveled mirrors and mirrored brass undersides engraved with a quirky message that reads: “Pat McGrath Labs, Mothership, Use without caution, Shade throwing and eye ecstasy, May result with prolonged use, MMXVII.”

McGrath has also announced that new product categories, including those for complexion, are soon to come!
