Philosophy the Renewed Hope in a Jar moisturizer and eye cream
Philosophy, the famous skincare brand known for its very original approach to personal care, is announcing a new milestone in its history. The brand, which was acquired by Coty Inc., back in 2010, will, from now on, be positioned more scientifically, and the brand will be more about skin care than the bath.
The first product based on more scientific formulas was No Reason to Hide, which was introduced in August. The brand has now expanded its use of high-tech ingredients to Renewed Hope in a Jar, which is, as its name suggests, a reformulated, even better, version of one of its most popular moisturizers – Hope in a Jar.
The original Hope in a Jar was launched back in 1996, and it was also one of the brand’s fist products to launch at QVC. For this reason, the new formulation will be previewed on QVC and then on QVC.com and philosophy.com before it hits the shelves in January.
The Renewed Hope in a Jar is aimed at ladies between 25 and 45 years of age, and it features a lightweight soufflé-like formula. This potent moisturizer, loaded with powerful ingredients, promises silky-smooth, well moisturized, and healthy-looking glowing skin. In its new rendition, the Renewed Hope in a Jar blends alpha hydroxy acids (glycolic, citric, mandelic and hyaluronic), hyaluronate, blue agave, and an Asian fruit extract, to help improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and create a healthy-looking glow that lasts. The reformulated Hope in a Jar is different because it helps promote skin’s natural renewal processes, as 91% of all participants in a consumer-perception study have confirmed. In clinical studies, 100% of women showed improvements in skin texture in weeks one, four, and eight.
Philosophy the Renewed Hope in a Jar refreshing moisturizer should be applied morning and evening after cleansing treatment. The product is delivered in the redesigning frosted jar, and it is priced at $47 for 2 oz. In addition, Philosophy is announcing a complementary Renewed Hope in a Jar eye cream, which will be based on pretty much the same technology, but with yeast extracts instead of alpha hydroxyl acids. The lifting eye cream will be priced at $51 for 0.5 oz. Philosophy will also launch dry-skin and SPF-versions of the Renewed Hope in a Jar moisturizer and eye cream.
