PREVIEW: NARS Fall 2011 Makeup Collection

Here is a quick preview of NARS’s upcoming Makeup Collection for Fall 2011. The central piece of the collection is definitely the Delphes eyeshadow trio, inspired by the major oracle in the classical Greek world, a place where Greeks worshiped the god Apollo. The notes featured in this set are capturing the colors of the ancient stones against the vivid background made of mountain mountain herbs and thick rainy clouds.

The Delphes eyeshadow trio contains three separate shades:

• Sparkling Peach – peachy and very bright color enriched with silver glittering pigments
• Dove Gray – mate eyeshadow that can be also used as an eyeliner. It is also great whenever you need to soften one of the darker shadows.
• Frosted Sage – very pigmented and smooth olive-colored shadow rich in fine golden pigments.

The Delphes eyeshadow trio is priced at $45 and available,  from July 15.

Another interesting piece of the collection is featured on the promotional image. The face of the campaign is beautiful Maria Carla Boscono and here we see her wearing the striking blue Outremer single eye shadow.
