RepHair by Pierre Michel

Brand new line of hair-care products is just heading to salon shelves. It is the RepHair by Pierre Michel, a set of four products plus daily capsules.

The line is formulated especially for damaged hair and works by targeting DNA to get hair thicker. These products contain the compound AC-11, which has already attracted substantial attention as a repairer of DNA. AC-11 is extracted from Cat’s Claw, a woody vine found in South American rain forests, and several studies have confirmed it repairs DNA damage done by air pollution, toxins and environmental stress.

RepHair is based on formula free of silicone, sulfates, parabens and petrochemicals, and it is available as a shampoo, conditioner, a mask and a leave-in conditioner. Michel Obadia, co-owner of Pierre Michel salon in Manhattan also recommends using one capsule every day.

The line will be available at the salon and Web site from mid-July, priced from $28 to $35, depending on the product.
