Revlon has launched the Ultra HD Lip Lacquer, a new type of lip gloss designed for spring of 2015. As its name suggests, the Lip Lacquer belongs to the brand’s HD lineup, and it comes in 15 intensely pigmented shades.

As announced by Revlon, the Ultra HD Lip Lacquer is formulated with the innovative wax-free gel technology, which promises true color, high-impact shine, and a lightweight feel. The Lip Lacquer complements the new Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick formula, and it comes in a simple, transparent packaging with a fine looking mirror cap topped with a jewel-like adornment. Everything about Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer is actually inspired by precious and semi-precious stones – from their colors, their texture, their amazing color payoff and dazzling shine, to the names of individual shades…

The formula is unusually dense and richly saturated, which puts the Lip Lacquer somewhere in the middle of a classic liquid lipstick and a lip gloss. The crème shades are a bit thicker than the shimmering ones, and they are also a little bit more long-wearing.
