Sephora Divergent Makeup Collection

The famous chain of cosmetics stores, Sephora, has announced a new limited edition color collection named Divergent.

Sephora Divergent Collection is slated for launch in March 2014. As the name suggests, the collection is inspired by the debut novel of American author Veronica Rot, and the upcoming movie release directed by Neil Burger. Divergent, one of the most anticipated movies in 2014, is scheduled to be released on March 21, 2014 in the United States, which is when we can expect Sephora’s new collection to be unveiled. Let me also mention that this is Sephora’s very first movie makeup collaboration. Margarita Arriagada, chief merchant of Sephora, noted: “The story line is about discovery and female strength, and has many alignments with our mission and DNA.”

The central piece of the collection is the amazing Sephora Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Kit that includes three limited-edition eye shadow palettes, a cheek palette and four lip glosses inspired by Divergent fractions.

The eye shadow palettes include four High Pigment Eye Shadows and one High Gloss Transforming Eye Shadow. The transforming shades are based on a wet/dry formula that creates either mirror-like or a translucent finish. These new eyeshadows are described as “showcasing fluid, twinkling particles that look like they are suspended in air". $59.50

The range also includes Sephora Divergent Limited Edition Multi-Piece Collector’s Palette, which is bringing us three High Pigment Eye Shadow shades, blush, bronzer and lip gloss. $32.50

Sephora Divergent Limited Edition 7-Piece Nail Art Kit with five Long-Wear Nail Lacquers, one High-Gloss Transforming Nail Lacquer and six Nail Water-Transfer Tattoos. $27.50

Sephora Divergent Makeup Collection is launching in all Sephora doors, including J.C. Penney locations, the week of March 21, and online earlier in March.
