Sephora Pantone Universe Radiant Orchid Color of the Year 2014

The world’s largest authority on color, Pantone Institute, has chosen Radiant Orchid as 2014 color of the year. Same as every year, Sephora honors the upcoming trends with its new color cosmetics range, which is now dedicated to Radiant Orchid.

Radiant Orchid shade is described as a lively fusion of fuchsia, purple and pink. This color, a beautiful captivating purple, is very charming, very glam and certainly very sophisticated. It goes nicely with browns, taupes and warm grays, but would also be very beautiful if paired with bronze. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, has described it as "An enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones, Radiant Orchid inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health. It is a captivating purple, one that draws you in with its beguiling charm."

Sephora and Pantone are revealing the highly anticipated Color of the Year 2014 collection, a versatile flush for eyes, lips, cheeks, and nails, in universally flattering Radiant Orchid shade. This color, with soft rosy undertones, is able to produce a healthy glow on the skin. There are so any ways to wear this rather bold shade as it blends well with both cool and warm undertones. Even if you’re not very much into purples, you can wear it on the nails, in a form of a sheer lip gloss, or as a lipstick or blush.

Sephora + Pantone Universe Radiant Orchid collection is launching in March 2014, and it will be a full color cosmetics range in modern, violet-colored packaging and gorgeous violet shades in various textures.
