USE: Shiseido Men Total Revitalizer can be applied to neck and face day or night after shaving or cleansing. I've also used it on a shaved scalp to reduce flaking.

It energizes skin and accelerates its ability to defy dryness, dullness, fine lines, and other visible signs of aging. It also maximizes skin’s natural power to preserve its vitality, reduces signs of damage for a more youthful look and brings new life to fatigued skin. Formulated with Damage Defense Complex, skin-invigorating botanicals and a Vitamin E derivative, it preserves moisture levels in skin for 24 hours and is recommended for all skin types.

AROMA & TEXTURE: Total Revitalizer has virtually no aroma to speak of though it does contain fragrance as one of its ingredients. I can detect the aroma in the container but not while wearing it.

The texture is by far my favorite aspect of this product. I am not generally a fan of "white" or "cream" facial moisturizers as they often feel like a layer of product sitting on my skin. Shiseido's Total Revitalizer is a lightweight, non-greasy gel that immediately absorbs into my skin leaving it softened without ever feeling like I'm wearing a facial moisturizer. Best of all, it doesn't promote oily skin in the way that some moisturizers do.

PACKAGING: A basic, round silver-grey, screw-top container that allows the product to be applied with fingertips.

PROS & CONS: Availability can be sporadic and price is higher as compared to other products. Total Revitalizer does contain alcohol, fragrance and methylparaben which may cause irritation to acne-prone skin.

Pros include its lightweight, non-greasy texture; ability to minimize pores and reduce puffiness; and its longlasting effect.
