Shiseido to Launch Essential Energy Skin Care Collection

Shiseido has just announced the launch of a new skin-care range based on neuroscience, and its proprietary ReNeura Technology. The collection named Essential Energy will begin a worldwide rollout in January 2018, staring with three different products. The range, which is said to be Siseido’s most significant skincare launch since the 2014’s Ultimune collection, focuses on a single product -  the ReNeura-charged moisturizer, which comes in three different variations: Essential Energy Moisturizing Gel Cream, Essential Energy Day Cream Broad Spectrum SPF20, and Essential Oil Moisturizing Cream.

The Essential Energy line is the first line formulated with ReNeura Technology, which relies on neuroscience to help rekindle the skin’s ability to respond to skin care. Essential Energy is designed to address the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increase smoothness, and boost radiance. The collection is aimed at older Millenials, people in their 30’s, who are looking to prevent any damage before it even starts to take its toll on skin.

ReNeura Technology harnesses the powers of malleable spheres, or Active Response Powder, that are instilled in the formula to trigger sensory nerves and help them detect what is going on in the outside world. The skin’s responsive powers are boosted, so it efficiently reacts to any stimulus or environmental aggressor, anything that is causing the skin concerns. The goal is, of course, to rule out root causes in advance!

Shiseido’s Essential Energy Collection also takes into account different preferences of different consumers, so it offers three different textures – a lightweight cream-gel, a heavier cream with sun protection, and a rich, oil-based moisturizing cream. These three new products will be the first to use ReNeura Technology, but, as Shiseido announces, over the next three years, the technology will be incorporated into new skin care, and the brand will begin to reformulate its existing franchises to include the innovation.

Shiseido Essential Energy Collection is launching January 2018. Sonoya Mizuno, Japanese-born British actress, model and ballerina, is the face of the Essential Energy promotional campaign. The line debuts with three products that retail for $48.00 each.
